Advancing Academic Achievement (AAA Days)
The Fowler Unified School District has implemented an early release day schedule for professional development and collaboration on select Wednesdays throughout the school year. The district is committed to providing professional learning opportunities to ensure our teachers are effectively using instructional strategies, technology, assessment data and curriculum that set our students up for success. The time on AAA days allows teachers, administrators and specialists to collaborate on ways to support and enhance learning for all students. Breakfast and lunch schedules will remain the same at each school site on AAA days. Bus transportation will be provided after school for those students who reside in designated bus zones. The first AAA day for the school year is Wednesday, August 15.
The following Wednesdays have been designated AAA Days: Aug. 16, 23, 30; Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11 ,18, 25; Jan. 10, 17, 24, 30; Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28; Mar. 6, 13, 20, 27; Apr. 3, 10, 24; May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
AAA Dismissal Times by School Site:
Marshall School
Students will be dismissed @ 1:30 p.m. Please note kindergarten students are dismissed at 12:15 on AAA days until October 1. Beginning October 1, kindergarten students will be dismissed @ 1:20 p.m. on AAA days.
Malaga School
Students will be dismissed @1:30 p.m. Please note kindergarten students are dismissed at 12:10 on AAA days until October 1. Beginning October 1, kindergarten students will be dismissed @ 1:30 p.m. on AAA days.
Fremont School
Students will be dismissed @ 1:35 p.m.
Sutter Middle School
Students will be dismissed @ 1:35 p.m.
Fowler High School
Students will be dismissed @ 1:51 p.m.
Fowler Academy/Fowler Academy Alternative EducationStudents who attend the Academy are not dismissed early on Wednesdays.
