Mrs. Tamara Sebilian

Guidance Instructional Specialist

Tamara Sebilian joined the staff at Malaga Elementary as an Academic Coach in 2014.  Prior to joining the Malaga Community, she was a classroom teacher for fourteen years in the second and fifth grades.  

For her undergraduate work, Mrs. Sebilian earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno followed by a multiple subjects teaching credential from National University.  This educational experience laid the foundation for her love of instruction and her belief that all students can rise to high expectations. In the winter of 2015, she earned Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University, Fresno, followed by a credential in administrative services.  

Mrs. Sebilian feels honored to be serving the students, families, and staff of Malaga Elementary as the Guidance Instructional Specialist.  She truly believes in the value of a collaborative environment, as it is key in creating educators and student scholars that are successful.  Building partnerships with families and community members are essential to enriching the learning experience at Malaga Elementary is a belief that she holds.

During her free time, Mrs. Sebilian enjoys spending time with her children and husband, reading, and playing with her dog, Bolt.
