Fowler Unified School District employs two classifications of employees:
- Certificated Employment encompasses positions that require an appropriate authorization such as a credential, permit, certificate or waiver depending on the assignment (e.g., teacher, counselor, speech therapist, psychologist or school administrator).
- Classified Employment encompasses all non-instructional positions including, but not limited to the following job families: clerical/secretarial, custodial/grounds, maintenance, child nutrition, accounting/fiscal, instructional support/child care, child development teachers, and information/data processing.
